Redrow Homes welcome you to this public consultation website.

This public consultation website has been produced as part of our community engagement regarding a detailed planning application which will be submitted to Medway Council for a proposed development of 88 homes on land at Blowers Wood in Hempstead.

We are preparing an application for the proposed development which will include the following elements:

• 88 dwellings in total, including 22 affordable dwellings (comprising 6 First Homes and 16 affordable homes)
• Open space and a play area
• A 15 to 20m natural buffer area beside Blowers Wood
• New tree planting and landscaping throughout

There would be a single vehicle access into the site from Maidstone Road to the southeast of the site.

As a full planning application the submission to the Council will include full details of the site layout and appearance of the development, including the mix and type of housing proposed.

This consultation website provides details of the site, Redrow Homes and details of the proposed development and is an opportunity for you to provide feedback on the proposals.

The feedback received will be reviewed and analysed and where possible used to inform the final application submitted to Medway Council.
